Question: Chest pain on right side im 18?
im 18. i have chest pain, arm/shoulder pain, sometimes nausea. its only on the right side of my chest and it feels like im getting stabbed at times.
i am not obese or overweight, i dont smoke or drink.
i am pretty healthy.
i carry books on my right side though and im thinking that could be the cause of it. i also have a lot of anxiety sometimes, so its proably that too.
i just made an appt with a doctor, and i wont be able to see one until about a month from now. i used to go to a pediatrician and i needed to switch over, so i dont really have a new doctor now. thats why i have to wait so long.
if it really becomes annoying i will try to reschedule. it helps if i take aleve or soemthing but only slightly.
should i worry?

It's most likely muscular pain. It can often mimic other types of pain. I wouldn't worry too much. Could also be something woth your stomach, like acid indigestion.
Also, your heart is on the left side, so if it were that, you'd have left-sided chest pain.
