HELP US PLEASE. eating disorder question?!

Question: HELP US PLEASE. eating disorder question?
Ok, my girlfriends internet is down so she asked me to ask this.

She over heard her dad talking about her eating and his concern over it.

She wants to know if she has an eating disorder

OK... she is 19 years old 5 7' 130 pounds (not fat, but not skinny, about average. I think she is perfect)

This is her recent eating schedule:

Friday 3 chicken nuggets from mcdonalds. 1 small oreo mcflurry(ice cream cookie mix up)

Saturday Nothing some wine

Sunday pudding cup snack pack wine

monday 4 eggs scammbled with cheese and some salsa

tuesday some rottisery chicken ( 2 wings, 1 drum) wine

Wendsaday (today) Nothing

Ok.. she drinks some wine(this ISNT an aldoholism question), and has some juice.... When Im with her and I make food, she eats it. when its her choice, she doesnt. She worries she will get fat if she eats more. She thinks she is fat enough (i dont think she is at all)

Will she get fat if she eats more? (her question)
Does she have an eating disorder? ^^^^^^^^

Thank you, please include a source if you can

Thank you so much for helping us

Answers:

You are a very good boyfriend. I cant tell you really care. Yes she does have some kind of disorder. She is healthy. Nothing is wrong with her weight. You need to make her eat healthy if you can. It seems like she eats when you cook, so keep cooking and form a good habit.

good luck gary (great name, gary btw)

I can give you a site on which you can find a so called body mass index meter. It's a number that says something about the ratio between your length and your weight. There you can find if the body mass index (bmi) of your girlfriend is good or bad for her health:

To eat nothing for a whole day is not very healthy tho. Your body needs nutrition daily to be able to perform and you are not taking good care of your body if you eat nothing but a glass of wine or nothing at all even.

The bmi is not an exact number. It's not that if you are this tall, you should weigh that much, there's a range, and it's up to yourself if you want to be on the high side, the low side of the middle of that range. If you don't want to gain weight, there are many healthy ways to keep your eating habits under control.

But to worry about it this much and to eat this little is not a good sign. Eating should be fun or at least not a problem. If your girlfriend is obsessing over it every day she might have a serious problem, and that's a kind of problem that won't go away all by itself. I'm having an eating disorder myself, so I know...

I wish you both the best of luck!
