i get mine out on thursday and i want to know how bad the pain in, what i can eat, if my face or neck will swell, and if ill lose weight.

The pain is worse if you are older - worse for teenagers than kids, and worse for adults than teenagers. Eating soft foods and drinking fluids is recommended for two to four days, as is bed rest. Since less food is being consumed, there is a risk of dehydration and you should ensure that the child is getting adequate fluid. Check here.
