at the weekly singalong sessions at the Home?

It can be possible, it depends how bad or far along the Alzheimers is. If it isn't to bad then I don't see why not.
It is possible. My grandma had Alzheimers and all at once would have a lucid moment. There's no way of knowing whats going on in their minds. She couldn't talk anymore and one day she beat time to a song she was listening to!
