Explain the pulmonary vein and artery?!

Question: Explain the pulmonary vein and artery?
Answers:

well in a nutshell...
The pulmonary artery takes de-oxygenated blood from heart to lungs, whilst the pulmonary vein takes oxygenated blood from the lungs to the heart.

The pulmonary artery carries De-oxygenated blood from the right ventricle to the lungs; the pulmonary veins carry OXYGENATED blood from the lungs to the left atrium.

Just in case you're wondering what Oxygenated and De-oxygenated mean, Oxygen means filled with/contains Oxygen, whereas De-oxygenated means the opposite: does not contain Oxygen

pulmonary brings de-oxygenated blood from the right ventricle to the lungs and the pulmonary artery brings the oxygenated blood to the left atrium.
