Question: Im on prednisone and had remicade a few weeks ago, should i contact my doctor of stomach bug?
so i had remicade in the hostpial a few weeks ago and ive been on prednisone and i just caught a stomach bug, ive been having diharrea and throwing up, should i contact my doctor about it?
btw part of the reason i had to get those meds is cuz of ulcerative colitis which has to do with the colon and stuff so should i mention it to the doc?

Rina, I'm not sure about the link you used, but it looks like your doctor prescribed you the prednisone for the inflammation caused by your ulcerative colitis (which is an inflammatory bowel disease). The thing about prednisone is that it increases your chances for infections.
Contact your doctor, tell him about the diharrea and the throwing up. I'm sure he'll take care of you.
Diarrhea might be subsided a bit by eating yogurt.
