Serious question... How often should I get drunk?!

Question: Serious question... How often should I get drunk?
...and please, kindly resist betraying any ignorance and it's too late for 'never'.

Answers:

at most, once a week. you can damage your liver and kidneys if you drink too often.

a friend of mine is a club promoter, so he was at the club 5 days a week, and also drunk 5 days a week. he ended up getting a kidney stone. (and those are EXTREMELY painful)

give your body some time to get all the liquor out your system. after you drink liquor, drink lots of water .(to prevent dehydration) and lots of bread-like foods to soak the liquor up.

medical student.

the answer is..never! all though this can be very unpractical for most people, and everyone has been drunk at least once in their lives.
But remember drinking 5 or more glasses of wine or beer is classed as BINGE DRINKING so be careful how much you drink when your out.
Getting drunk reggularily can also permanantly damage your liver and prove fatal.
So i would say getting drunk once a week would not be advisable, but you could probably just get away with this without getting any serious health problems. However it depends how long you will b doing this for. For example if you got drunk once a week, every week for a month, you probably would be OK, but say you got drunk once a week, ever week for 10 years, you would probably be at risk of developing some kind of illness or ailment.

hoped this helped x

i used to deal with alcoholics when i worked in a hospital a few years ago x

How drunk do you get when you drink?

It's generally recommended that males have no more than two drinks per day, females one drink per day (unless they're pregnant or lactating). Probably no more than twice per week, but if you drink a lot, probably no more than once every other week or so.

"Drunk" typically means intoxicated to the point of impairment.

The short answer given that you used the *obligatory* 'should' is -never-.

Between liver and brain damage, heart and arterial damage, it is simply not worth it.

Are you not drunk now?

Well you should be!

Remember, if you aren't drinking the beer, someone else is. And if you aren't first, you're last.

SO GO FOR THE GOLD!!!

every day

All the time... hey... who needs a liver anyways.
