natural ways to increase energy?!

Question: Natural ways to increase energy?
I have completely cut out caffeine from my diet because i was starting to affect my sleeping and energy levels, But it's been a couple months and I find myself becoming very tired during mid-day. I don't like energy drinks or 5 hour energy or anything like that, but, I need to find something I can do/eat/drink to get through the day and stay focused. I work in an office so, theres no reason behind my sleepyness and I get my 7-8 hours of sleep a night. What can I do to get past that "2:30 feeling?" Thanks!

Answers:

there is this natural supplement my mum and i use, its called bee alive or something nd it is matural honey straight from the hive of a certain kind of bee and its really rich in b12 vitamins, and b12 vitamins give you natural energy. Also try iron supplements, when your low in iron you get fatigue

For your body to have lots of energy throughout the day you need to do the following:
(1) Eat a healthy diet with lots of organic vegetables (especially dark green), fruits, quality protein, and complex carbohydrates.
(2) Stay well hydrated to remove toxins and support your metabolic processes.
(3) Cardio and strengthening exercises several times a week.
(4) Avoid preservatives, food dyes, white flour products, white rice, potatoes, sugar, sodas, alcohol except red wine, caffeine, energy drinks, and junk food.
(5) Minimize dairy products except yogurt.
(6) Take quality vitamins with a B-complex, a sublingual(under the tongue version) of B-12, calcium, magnesium, vit.C,E,D,A, and general vitamin/mineral supplement. Do not take iron supplements unless directed by your doctor because it can cause cancer in excess.
(8) Quality sleep for at least 8 hours.
(9) You need to have some protein with every meal because it will curb your hunger. Too many high glucose carbs at lunch will make your blood sugar spike and then fall causing afternoon drowiness. Always have a salad and protein at lunch.
(10) Eat five smaller meals a day instead of three or less. This will help stabilize your blood sugar levels. Make sure your get quality oils in your diet like organic extra virgin olive oil and flaxseed oil
(2 tablespoons a day with your salads).
