it is normal to have muscle pain when you have a cold?!

Question: It is normal to have muscle pain when you have a cold?
i have for now almost 5 days.. massive cramps on my right side mostly...legs..and back.
is it due to my cold which seems to be already gone?

Answers:

Yes it could be. You could also be de-hydrated and your potassium could be low. Make sure you drink lots of water of juice and eat some bananas!

yeeeppppp...it totally can be cuz of ur cold.
even if u get red of ur cold..it can still be in ur body 4 a while...so it may come back
IMPORTANT!!!...drink ALOT of ORANGE juiceeeee :D....also try some hot tea. :)
if it doesnt get better, try some muscle ache cream u can get from cvs or anystore...it might be cuz ur sleeping in a bad position 2...hope this helped :)

You can have mild pain in common cold but severe aches or pains usually occur in flue. Cramps can be due to electrolytes disturbance, did you have some diarrhea or vomiting durnign illness?

Maybe you are dehydrated this will cause cramp, so drink lots anyway.

yes, are you sure you don't have the flu?
