I have a question on weed withdrawal?!

Question: I have a question on weed withdrawal?
i hear that its either not physically addictive or has very mild withdrawal symptoms. im on a break now because i have a career making exam soon and ive basically wasted my moth of prep leave getting high and making excuses. this is the second day ive been clean and i feel like ****. i havent been able to sleep as well, my throats completely screwed [weird, can anyone explain this?] and my appetites gone, im cranky tired and irritable. i understand that this will pass in a few days, im not whining, just trying to find out the physiological causes for these symptoms. thanks in advance.

Answers:

Marijuana increases appetite and gives the user a sense of well-being. Since you aren't smoking, you aren't going to be as hungry and your emotions/senses aren't being dulled. In other words, what you are experiencing is completely normal.

Stay well-hydrated, use some hard candy to help with the throat irritation (if that symptom persists, see a doctor...you may be coming down with something that just happened to coincide with your marijuana cessation) and take a multivitamin. Get some exercise. Make sure you adhere to a regular sleep schedule and if you still experience difficulty sleeping, try an over the counter sleep aid such as a mild antihistamine or melatonin (unless you have any medical conditions or are on any medications that contradict this). You should start feeling better soon.

its all in your head. i quit for several months after i was smoking pretty much every day for years and i felt no withdrawal effects
