how can i get taller?!

Question: How can i get taller?
im 14 years old and im a girl about 5"1 or 5"2 and i really want to grow taller. i know that height has to do with genetics, but is there anyway that i can possibly get even taller and do i have anymore room for growth? thanks :)

Answers:

Pilates and ballet training. If you take ballet seriously you could see your height increase by half an inch or less. The point is to LOOK elongated, and have proportionately long, elegant legs.

Play basketball and do streches.
Eat well balanced meals and include all

make sure u get atleast 8 hours of sleep (cause while ur sleeping ur body releases some growth hormone)
Drinking milk may help you get taller, but it might make you fatter. Drink one or two glasses of milk a day.
Hanging onto a bar or something helps to lengthen your spine and will, in the long run, increase your height.

you are right, genetics has to do with height BUT environment (your general health) can make a 5-6 inch difference!

make sure you get your calcium for the day
deal with stress in a healthy way: talk to your friends, exercise!
got lots of sleep (9-10 hours at your age)

on average, girls reach 98% of their adult height by age 16, but this is only an average

if you haven't had your first period yet, you have a ways to go (to grow). after your period, growth will slow down as the increased estrogen in your body fuses the growth plates in your bones.

will be a pediatrician next year !

Eat healthy and exercise. These 2 things combine will increase the amount of GH that your body produces. Also don't listen to people who say height is only genetic, there obviously not very experienced in this topic.
