Question: Why won't my skin grow back over the meat?

So, about 5 days ago, I tripped on a curb and took a large chunk of flesh out of my leg. I couldn't afford a dr's bill, so I asked my friend who's in nursing school what I should do about it. She told me to take a small peice of steak and put it in the gash, and bandage it, and the skin should grow over the steak. Well, it's been hurting for about 4 days, so I finally took the bandage off, and it's this weird greenish yellowish grey color, and it's leaking, and it smells really, really bad... Is there any way I can get the skin to grow back? What should I do?

Well now, that wasn't really the smartest thing to do, was it? You need to let the wound drain the pus (do not bandage the wound) and get to a hospital fast. This is serious, you could actually die from gang green.

Hospital . They will try to work something out about monthly payments.
You have an infection now, and it will only get worse if untreated or not treated properly
