Sounds like it's about to start. Whatever time it is make sure you have a pad with you if it's night wear one to bed just to make sure, you would like to avoid that uncomfort.
I'm 18 and am still learning about my periods (that will make sense one day) as in they are always heavy the first day, but are then light and last over a week! While I have painless periods for months but then have a horrible one off for whatever reason, but never in a row... It will never make sense.
If the cramps last for about 30 seconds-a minute, and if the pain is below your belly button, it sounds like your period is coming on. You better wear a panty liner, pad, or tampon.

if you are getting these types of cramps, you might be beginning your period. Talk to your mother, the school nurse, or your doctor about the next steps you should take
