How to hide possible anorexia from doctor?!
Question: How to hide possible anorexia from doctor?
So, how do you lie without someone knowing? How do I explain my weight loss?
And what will the doctor and nutritionist ask me?
Answers:
He'll talk to you about vitamins and that you're eating all the food groups. Just say what you think he wants to hear.
I don't take any dairy product because I hate how they taste but I take calcium and Vitamin D supplements. I told my nutritionist and he said that I still need actual milk. In reality, I don't. Sorry for the rant but I'm saying this because the smallest thing will get them.
i agree you need the heart, but anorexia will ruin the heart ( it may kill you) get well, then take the heart, you wouldn't want to waste it would you.
Lying never does anyone any good, and i know it may not be what you want to hear, but i think you do have a problem, and the dr only wants to help.
Take advantage of the help, before it's too late hun.
You should weigh at least 131 pounds. You're gonna drop dead of heart failure if you continue this charade.
If you have any brains in that head of yours, stop hiding!!! It's time to talk to your parents and the doctor. I've seen too many girls like you DIE of an ED, so stop it! You're only fooling yourself if you think you're not anorexic, and I think you know it. Wake up! :( :/
Nurse.

Past experiences
According to Weight Watchers, a healthy weight range is 135 to 169 lbs for a person of your heioght. So you are definitely underweight.
To be honest, organs need to go to people who have proven they are compliant with treatment. If your doctor says you should gain more weight, and you don't, he could indeed remove you from the transplant list. For example, I was on a waiting list for a kidney and pancreas, and was told afterwards that if people are on the waiting list, but start skipping dialysis sessions, they are removed from the active list. No transplant team wants to give a organ, which are so hard to get because people refuse to be organ donors, to someone who won't follow their recommendations.
If the transplant is what you truly want, and I'm sure it is, then you must follow the doctor's suggestions, and not your own ideas. I'm sure you would hate to lose the heart because you would not eat enough after your received it.
