What happens when you get hungry?!

Question: What happens when you get hungry?
What I really mean is, if you are hungry, does that mean you've burned off all the calories of the last thing you ate? Or does that mean it's fully digested?

Answers:

I think it's fully digested since when your tummy 'rumbles' and then there is slight discomfort it's because your stomach acid has nothing to work on so it's just churning around in literally an empty stomach.

neither trigger hunger. neurotransmitters do, usually based on bowel movements. Just keep sticking to your routine, keep it enjoyable, so it becomes a habit, you'll see results, and you won't have to wonder such things anymore. Be sensible exercise and a complementary diet and be patient and the results will come, AND be better then you even imagined!

It does not mean you have burned off all the calories but I'm not exactly sure why you feel hungry. I think it"s because your food has been digested.
