Question: What will the doctor do?

I'm a 15 year old girl. Everytime I eat, my food comes up when I burp. I feel a little pain in my chest. I've had this for 2 years. I'm seeing a gastroenterologist on Thursday. What will he do?

Mostly ask questions relating to GERDS and acid reflux. eventually, do a endoscopy and look at esophogeal valve at top of stomach. Caffeine or soda is probably the cause.

well its called gastric reflux, u need to eat less and eat at a slower pace. and get enough sleep. also make healthy choices
