Most people have pulled out of attending my party...how can i make it a success !
Question: Most people have pulled out of attending my party...how can i make it a success anyway?
Initially a lot of my friends said they were coming (probably 20-30 people), but now quite a lot of these have pulled out, and I only have about 6 people confirmed, plus a few more possibly coming.
Does anyone have any advice on how to make this an enjoyable night for everyone despite the fact that there will only be a handful of us there?
Thanks,
Answers:
get lots girls to come, which will drag in the lads.
Also make it sound like it is going to be MAD, and maybe don't stay in the flat but go out on some totally MAD adventure
then all your other parties will be people magnets
You can only count on about a third of the people you invite to a function to actually attend. In spite of that, concentrate on making it fun for the people who do attend. How to do that will depend on what those people like to do. Make sure there is plenty of food, drinks, music. Play games...nothing livens up a party more than a game when everyone can participate. And no matter what, be a gracious and attentive host.
Are there legitimate reasons for people deciding not to attend? Ask them to see is something has been said to make you invitation unappealing.
Next, do what you planned before the "drop-outs" and enjoy those who have proved to be true friends. Good luck.
good food, good drinks, girls, boys and loud music :P
then everyone will party hard
Make it spin the bottle and I'll come!! ;)
Free drinks.
