Yes, but flashbacks are vastly overrated and exaggerated. People always claim that they are the scariest things you'll ever experience and that you go crazy and they last for hours and you don't know what you're doing while having them, etc....
That isn't the case whatsoever. They are basically just a deja vu feeling reminiscent of an experience while on shrooms or LSD. They last a couple of seconds and the most that can happen is very slight visual distortions. It happens when you see something that reminds you of the trip; the cells in your eyes get "reminded" as well. From there, they naturally react by trying to counteract the "hallucinations" and since they aren't there, they over-correct themselves and actually cause a few visual distortions.
