Trouble falling asleep?!

Question: Trouble falling asleep?
I have chronic fatigue syndrome and I'm constantly tired. But when it's time for me to go lay down, no matter what time of day it is I simply cannot fall asleep. :/

I have trouble falling asleep and staying asleep. I constantly wake up. I'm the kind of person who wakes up and remembers the exact time I woke up too. And what little sleep I do get I have night mares. It's horrible because I am so tired. Zombie like even

Lately I have been upset and I know that has an effect on your sleep too. But I have tried everything to help me sleep, no tv 2 hrs before bedtime, eating turkey and drinking warm milk, exercising twenty minutes before I lay down. Even old wives tale things like doing a head stand for five minutes before bed.

I don't want to ask for sleeping pills (I'm 14) because I hate taking medicine. what could be the root of my sleeping problem? And What can I do to Make Me fall asleep faster?

Answers:

I'm 15 , I've had chronic fatigue or almost 2 years now and I have the same problem with my sleep. I take melatonin about an hour before sleep, it does make me more tired, but my problem is that when i sleep its from about 9 am to 2 pm. But i would definitely try melatonin, its all natural, you can buy it over the counter and there's no possible way you can become addicted to dependent on it. Other then that I think it's just a matter of waiting i out, sleeps probably the most annoying part of chronic fatigue and i think its the hardest thing to get back to normal but it will happen !
