Why are my hands & feet always so cold?!

Question: Why are my hands & feet always so cold?
My hands and feet are always extremely cold. So cold that they it's almost painful. I went to the doctor about it and she told me that I had poor circulation but, that it wasn't serious and that there was nothing she could do to help me. Is this true? Is there really no solution to this? And is it really this harmless?

Answers:

Please find another doctor, there is help for cases like that, I know because my neighbor
had the same problem and her doctor gave her some instructions for her case.
Checking the Thyroid is the first step because some times the Thyroid is guilty
There are other causes such as the Raynaud's Syndrome.

I found this about the cold hands and cold feet perhaps you would like to
ask your doctor about it:

" If the symptoms are due to Raynaud's Syndrome, beyond proper thyroid treatment, avoiding or minimizing cold exposure is a key way to avoid symptoms. If you are a smoker, you should also stop smoking, as that is known to aggravate symptoms. Biofeedback treatments may also be a help for some patients.

Drug treatments can help, but the drugs used may have various side effects. Some of the drug treatments currently being used for Raynaud's include........"
( and here was a list of medicine, but only your doctor can decide the medication you
would need. )

In my answer I would like to suggest to you to find a different doctor and be tested for
Thyroid deficiency and for the other problem detailed above.

Doctors dont know the natural way. Ginger roots help with circulation. Here is a tea you can make at home. Helped my father and friends. Recipe below.

To make 4 cups of tea, start with a 1 inch piece of ginger. Peel the ginger and grate it coarsely or slice thinly.

Bring 4 cups of water to a boil and add the ginger. Reduce the heat and simmer the tea for 20-30 minutes depending on the strength you like.

Pour off the tea, or strain if necessary. Enjoy hot or cold. Many enjoy the tea as is, but you can also sweeten it with a little honey, and lemon is optional.

Benefits of Ginger: Nausea, digestive problems, circulation and arthritis

id see another doctor, im sure theres something they could do! doesnt sound right that there'd be no solution. do you exercise? i know that regular exercise helps with circulation and helps keep your body warm

Poor circulation, perhaps.

my question is, are you over weight. under active?
