A question about my ears?!

The only symptom of Tinnitus I have is the ringing, mine was caused by loud music from gigs and instrument playing but it can also be caused by ear infections, old age etc..
It's only audible, you can't "feel" it as such, unless you mean the mental issues that come with it.
Tinnitus can sometimes go on it's own after a few years, but there's no cure. There is research at the moment which suggests you can re-tune your brain to ignore the ringing.
the loudness of mine depends whether I've had exposure to noise that day, but normally it's not amazingly loud, it's noticeable more at night.
