Question: Can IBS cause you to have a hard stomach?

Before you jump to conclusions, I've never had sex so no I'm not pregnant. I have IBS and recently my stomach has become hard like it does when I'm constipated but I'm not constipated. Does anyone have any ideas about this?

It could be gas. Gas can cause your stomach to feel "hard." Try taking some Gas-X.
