What could be wrong....?!

Question: What could be wrong....?
I'm 15 year old girl and I'm 5'1 and I weigh 116 pounds and lately I've been having heart problems. My heart flutters, thumps, bumps, and even speeds up.I could be sitting down doing nothing and it does this.I was sitting at my desk when all of a sudden it felt like my heart thumped then i could barely catch my breath I was so scared I didn't know what was going on.There was also this one time I got really mad and my heart skipped a beat and when it did I couldn't breathe. Now I figured out That when I run my heart flutters and skips a beat and I can't breathe. And there was numerous times where I could be sitting down and my whole chest area where my heart is feels like a hot heating sensation goes over it and it spreads across my whole chests.I thought it was sodas but when I stopped drinking sodas the problems still continued...
Could anyone tell me whats wrong with me.....??????????
My parents know they just don't know what to do.......

A doctor will help you find out what is going on with your heart, specifically, a cardiologist. Until tests are done it is hard to know if the cause of your heart flutters (known as palpitations) are just from stress, anxiety and diet (too much caffeine and sugar, not enough water) or are something more serious related to your heart's electrical system. I would definitely make sure you are drinking enough water. Adding sea salt (not table salt) and the juice of a lemon to the water can help maintain your electrolyte balance which regulates heart rhythm. Magnesium and potassium are important minerals for regulating heart rhythm as well. Again, I would definitely see a qualified healthcare practitioner (MD, ND (naturopathic doctor), CNC (clinical nutritionist) ).

How about seeing a doctor and having an electrocardiogram? Any time there is a heart irregularity, that is what you do first. Being 15 does not eliminate the possibility of having some sort of heart problem.

There are lots of possible causes for these irregular beats, but the first thing is to rule out a heart problem.

It sounds like a heart murmur which can be very dangerous. Its where one valve in the heart doesn't close all the way when it beats. But you need to go to the doctor about it.
