Help! Why am I having these symptoms?!?!

Question: Help! Why am I having these symptoms?!?
Not yesterday but on Tuesday, I felt weak and had no energy at school. Yesterday, I stayed home from school, I felt nauseous in the morning and when I stood up. my throat had bothered me a little bit but I didn't think much of it. Today when I woke up, I felt like vomiting. After an hour or two it went away. When I swallow, it feels like there is something stuck in my throat. My brother was treated for strep on Monday. I don't have a fever. I did notice that there are red spots on the back of my tongue, I'm not sure what that's from. Anyone know what's wrong? Should I see a doctor?

Answers:

If your brother was treated for strep, and you are feeling ill, odd are you have it as well and should see a doctor to get antibiotics. Many people have lower body temperature than 98.6 (mine is 97.9), so that does not necessarily mean anything at this point.

You could also have the flue, but untreated strep can turn into more severe problems, including rheumatoid arthritis.

Red spots are a typical sign of strep, as are white spots in the throat.

I think you should go to the dr. You could have strep because you had contact with your brother. If it is not strep, the dr. will probably tell you what is wrong with you.

your pregnant or have strep throat , go see a doctor.
