It is a personal preference, really. It's usually a lot more trouble than it's worth though... nicks from shaving, itchy razor bumps and prickly stubble growth suck. Sugaring is way better and the results last longer, but it can be expensive, especially if you decide to have it done at a salon/spa.

If you do decide to go ahead and shave, remember to shave WITH the hair, not against it - that'll reduce the amount of pimples you end up with afterward. Also remember to use lots of shaving cream/shower gel/whatever, and go slowly and take your time. :)
