How bad will smoke damage your voice?!
Question: How bad will smoke damage your voice?
I'm a filipino singer who lives in USA right now,my voice is what I living on,I know cigarettes will damage your voice that's for sure,but how bad is it actually?For example,I smoke half pack a day(never suck it in).
Answers:
a. it could deepen your voice
b. you could end up with throat cancer
c. you could end up with lung cancer
could. could. could. BUT here's what will most certainly happen, you will not have the ability to take in as deep a breath as someone who doesn't smoke and you're ability to hold notes will diminish and you will suffer from fatigue quicker than someone who doesn't smoke. You will, and already have reduced lung capacity.
Let me get this straight. You are more concerned about your voice than your lungs???
