Throwing up bright blood for awhile?!

Question: Throwing up bright blood for awhile?
I know it can't be good, I am aware of that... what I'm asking is what could it be most likely? So I drank last night more then the usual and I couldn't hold the alcohol down nomore, I was throwing up and bright red blood was what I seen in the toilet. This isn't my first time, my first actually was about 3 1/2 months ago no drinking and I ate very well... waking up I ran to the toilet I was like oh no I'm pregnant this is morning sickness well I wasn't pregnant but holy moly it was a lot of blood I threw up, at the time my ex boyfriend convinced me to go to the emergency room, I wasn't throwing up blood anymore but I was having somewhat sharp pains on my lower back and occasionally on the side, I told the doctor what was going on and he asked i f I was still throwing up I replied no so he gave me the diagnosis of gastritis and acid reflux so I got the anti acid pills you get or watever my point is .... I get sharp pains on my back and on my sides so bad that when I breathe I have to stop what I'm doing and freeze my body till the pain stop and the throwing up blood happens here and there but I also do cough blood most of the time. I've done it this far without medicine but the pains are bothering me and I'm scared I'm only 18.

Answers:

Sharp pains in your back and on your sides makes me think of kidney problems. Vomiting blood is DEFIINITELY NOT a good sign, seems that you are drinking muuuch more than is healthy. Stop drinking, or at least decrease the amount significantly. You have the symptoms of a bleeding ulcer, alcohol is going to greatly affect this in a negative manner. You need immediate medical intervention, this condition if left untreated can be life-threatening.

Have u heard of Cirrhosis of the Liver? You need to get a dr appointment set up n for goodness sakes, don't drink until u see them, if u can. Take carer f yourself.

Sounds like you are on your way to a stomach ulcer. They now know that is caused by a bug.

Well, at 18 you probably already know that alcohol kills. The fact that you vomited blood after binge drinking, is not a good sign for you future. Alcoholism is a progressive disease. You could have bloody vomit due to the veins in your throat rupturing. The fact that you have abdominal pain, scares me. You could have pancreatitis from too much alcohol. You need to see a doctor and also go to AA. Or you are going to have a very short life.
