Hip/Leg clicking when walking,help?!

Question: Hip/Leg clicking when walking,help?
It's not like it's all the time when i'm waling but now and again i feel this click, i'm sure its in the hip but then again my knees sometimes do it so i'm not sure..i do have juvenile arthritis but it isn't usually this bad...is it that? or is it more serious? how can i help it?

Answers:

You have clicky knees (there is a medical term, but I don't know it).

I have it as well. It's not uncommon in young people. It should be worse when you run.

It's not serious. It just means that every now and again you suffer a slightly uncomfortable click in your joints when walking or running. It can be a sign that arthritis is on the way but unfortunately there's no way of knowing that until you're older. There's no point in worrying about arthritis at this stage, but you might want to check your family medical history to see if anybody has suffered from arthritis in the past, it runs in the family so that could give you clues as to whether or not you're likely to get it.

talk to your parents and see a dr.
