How do I do an enema?!

Question: How do I do an enema?
I'm in a college dorm, and sharing a floor bathroom, I would rather do it in my room... i'm concerned though about a few things.

1) How much water should you use?
2) How many times should you do it?
3) Will I be able to walk to the bathroom (about 30 feet away) after doing the enema, or will I have to be next to a toilet?

The 3rd is my major concern >.> I don't want to explode all over my dorm rug.

For a cleansing enema I would take a 1 or 2 quart bag enema (buy a combination hot water bottle/douche/enema syringe from Walmart for $4.96). You are on a juice fast so there should not be a lot of fecal matter. Try to retain it for as long as possible 5 to 15 minutes. DO NOT get up and run for the toilet while having a cramp (peristaltic contraction) or you will make a mess. Instead pant like a puppy until the cramping subsides and then slowly walk to the toilet. Take one enema and then repeat until use see clear returns.

Personally I would find it difficult to do a good enema series in a dorm room. You might get away with a 1 quart enema; but, I would be next to the toilet if I were going to do a 2 quart enema. You want to add a teaspoon of salt per quart of water and make sure it it warm (about 105F). Too cold causes excessive cramping and too hot will damage your colon. Unless the common bathroom is very private I would not do it there. You made need a commode chair in the room. I find it is easiest to take a good enema if I take it laying on my left side with the right knee drawn to my chest (Sims position). Taking an enema while on all fours (hands and knees with the arms folded and shoulders down) is an alternate position; however, I would not do either in a common bathroom. In either case, do not hang the bag too high. Lower means slower and less pressure. Hang the enema bag or can so that the bottom of the bag or can is about 12" to 18" above your anus.

Some will tell you that you can take it sitting on the toilet. In my experience, gravity is against taking a large enema in this position. Another thought is to find a nursing student at the college and see if they would assist you and give them a chance to practice a skill. If I was to try this in a dorm room, I would have invested in a double bardex inflatable nozzle that would prevent leakage or I would find another place to do this.

Why? I am not trying to be rude are you gay? Which, I am find with but are many other sites that you can find the answer. If not there is no reason you should be giving yourself an enema. If you are constipated then you should take other steps before doing an enema. Not only does it get rid of the all the poop but it disturbed the balance and electrolytes in your entireintestiness.
