What is wrong with my hamstring/butt muscles?!


Question: What is wrong with my hamstring/butt muscles?
I'm a senior and a captain of my cross country, indoor track and outdoor track team. Last year I did something to my hamstring in which I couldn't stretch it properly. I also couldn't pinpoint the exact area of soreness. I went to physical therapy 5 months ago and she massaged and everything but it didn't do anything in the longrun. She mentioned it could be part of my spine sending pain to my hammy. Anyways, three days ago at track practice I tweaked my butt muscle in which the right side of my butt, and all the way down that same hamstring are very tight and unable to be stretched out. I don't know if i should see a doctor or what my options are. I have my league, district and state meets coming up so this could be a problem.
