I can't remember exactly how it was when I first started to not eat meat, but you ARE losing some vitamins since you are no longer consuming meat products. You should take vitamins to replace the meat, try consulting your doctor for more advice (they should know how your diet is now to help/inform you on things). Try to eat things accordingly to the food pyramid too if you can. And again, even though you stopped eating meat, you should stop consuming things from that needed protein area. You can get the needed protein from things such as legumes and certain vegetables.. and the ever so awesome soy! haha. good luck!

fellow vegetarian..

I feel your pain, I hate the slaughter of animals just as much as the next person, but they were PUT on this earth to sustain humans and keep us healthy. You feel weak because you are robbing your body of the proper nutrients it gets from eating meat such as protein, amino acids, and iron. This is normal from those who starve themselves of what your body needs. You cannot survive just on fruits vegetables and salads of whatever it is that you are eating. You will start to lose muscle (not cute), and your hair will become really thin, flat, and lack shine if you keep this up. So please, join PETA or GREENPEACE or something if you care about animals that much but remember that becoming a vegetarian is un-natural. It was not intended when our bodies were designed.

I really hope you make the right choice, the only way you can be helped is to go back to eating meats. Or else, you will continue to get sick for a very long time until your body adjusts and you can say goodbye to full and shiny hair if you have it already. No one will judge you for eating meat. They'll appreciate you for wanting to keep yourself healthy and long-living.

I've read this article before. It has some very good information.

There are some amino acids that cannot be found from any source other than meat, but it's probably too soon for you to be experiencing that or the B-vitamin deficiencies common in vegetarians and vegans. It's most likely your system scrambling to feed itself from food that is much harder to break down. You've likely drained all the glycogen (energy stores) out of your liver. You may find you need to greatly increase the amount of carbohydrates your eat to keep yourself going. Snack frequently.

One thing you might want to consider is all the other ways in which cows lose their lives for us:

And here is a well-known (formerly) vegan blogger who had to give up veganism to recover her health:

You are weak because meat it a very important source of food for your system and you aren't replacing with proper things like beans and peanut butter. If i was you i would eat meat but in moderation or eat a lot of veggies with protein. Good luck I hope you take my advice :)

its probaly because you dont have any more protein in your body.and dont worry its normal its just becayse your body isnt use to it either.i hope i helped.(:

my step-sister being a veggitarian. (:

make sure you are getting protein and iron in your diet. When I'm lacking iron i get really run down. http://www.fatfreekitchen.com/nutrition/… has a good list of foods to eat

Eat a medium rare porterhouse steak and see if it makes you feel better.

Scientific method.
