I'm 14 and I hate my mole?!

Question: I'm 14 and I hate my mole?
I have a really dark brown mole on my face next to my mouth and i hate it so much! i just feel like that's what everyone looks at, and it feels really unattractive. I want to have it removed but waht type of methods of removal are there? I know there is the shaving one but i couldn't have it done.. and would i be allowed at my age? I have tried scratching it off before but that hurt and it didn't work.. it was stupid, i know.
So can anyone help, i would like it gone!

There are ways to have it removed, but I suggest waiting a little while. I don't mean to classify you, but 14-year-olds are not famous for being comfortable with their bodies. If you wait a few years, you may mature into believing it's just a part of you and be okay with it. I can promise you that it's not the only thing that people look at.

They can laser it off but I got one on my chest removed and it left a scar that was almost as big as the mole but it was pink. Just leave it or get a tan or wear a little makeup on it if you want it to be lighter, but beauty marks (as long as it's not big) can be sexy and make you unique. A lot of models have had them. If you really hate it though and it's big you can talk to a dermatoligist, mine wasn't removed by laser, so it might not leave a bad scar. Idk but yes you can get it removed at your age although it is quite expensive

I have one right there too! I have periodically wanted to have it removed, but I was told by a plastic surgeon it would leave at least a 1 centimeter scar, which to me was worse than the mole. I've come to like it. It's like Cindy Crawford. If you really hate it, go see your doctor about options for removal, but be sure to ask how much of a scar you'll have. Also, don't try to get rid of it yourself. A mole is actually really deep in there and if you don't get all of it, it will grow back. And then you'll have scarring AND a mole.

Please don't scratch it ... it does really hurt - and could get infected ;o(

You know.... a mole near the mouth is often referred to as a beauty spot! A lot of 'old days' actresses used to actually draw one on.

If you really don't want it tho' ... go see the doctor - or the community nurse. They won't laugh - and will explain everything that's available.

You can get it removed, go to your doctor. :)

Got to your doctor - he can remove it in the surgery within a few minutes.
