Friend told me she is planning on smoking marijuana ...?!

Question: Friend told me she is planning on smoking marijuana ...?
so the other day, a friend of mine told me she was planning on smoking marijuana. she said she had it with her in her bag. she is in high school and she told me this at the end of the school day. i care about her and i did my best to advise her against this. i probably should have done more to stop this (this isn't an excuse) but i have never encountered a situation like this and kind of froze. am i obliged to tell the school about what she told me? she is having a rough time but i also want to do the right thing as well as follow school rules? does anyone know what i should do?

You do know that nobody has EVER died from smoking weed before, right? I bet you wouldn't be asking this question if it was alcohol but anyway its not addictive and it doesn't kill braincells. Let her live her damn life she doesnt need a brainwashed sheep telling on her thinking that shes helping her. Do some research on weed, and not from sites like above the influence, then tell me if you are worried about her anymore, you wont be.

Wow the brainwashing has really gotten to you guys!

1. If it was heroin, you'd have something to worry about. It's just pot.
2. If you tell someone on her, you're a huge loser. That will just make her life horrible. And later in life she'll do what she wants anyway. YOU AREN'T HER FRIEND IF YOU DO THIS!!!! Convince her to give it up based on the evidence or do nothing at all.
3. People lie about marijuana because they are in politics or whatever. Look at what SCIENCE says about the plant, ok?

well feature jo thats not it 1st it will running ur life because my cuzzzzz didnt lost all of her friends all most her family was in erehaabe for a yr and th hospital 4 a month still does it with the bdd crowd ur friends will leave you and that

Tell her she should not do it because she is ruining her life. If she still decides she is going to do it, then she doesn't deserve a friend like you because you are trying to help her.

don't tell the school about it, that's a steppp too far.
but just do you're best and tell her you'll always be there for her.

Talk to her about it first.. try to talk her out of it and tell her your just trying to help.

Good luck
