Question: I am having a boil in pubic region. What can i buy in Germany for this without doctor's prescription?
I am in germany and having some kind of a boil near my pubic region. Don't know if it is infected or normal blister kinds. Right now its snowing here , so it can be a seasonal rash also.
The boil/blister is a very small (half of one cent coin) soft and the surrounding area is hardened. Its paining if you touch it,and not itching.
It would be really convenient if i can get something off the shelf from any german drug store and i do not have direct access to the Doctor.

What can you do against such a boil? There might be something inside that must get out, causing the inflammation. Sometimes a hair is growing into the wrong direction or even forming a curl under the skin. The only thing you can try provisorily is to allay the inflammation with iodine.
There is an ointment called Betaisodona. If I remember right, you can get it without a prescription, but only in an Apotheke. It is intensely brown colored, and if you don't cover it with a plaster (not easy at that place), it won't be kind to your clothes.
