Way to make myself wake up easier / earlier?!


Question: Way to make myself wake up easier / earlier?
I would like to get up earlier so i can start eating breakfast and doing things in the morning but when the morning comes I just can't get myself to do it. I really would rather wake up early and go to sleep early then stay up 'till 3am and sleep till 2 in the afternoon. And don't say some corny thing like just do it or tell I wanna get up.

Your days and nights are turned around. Once you force yourself to wake up early, and sleep earlier, doing this for a week or so will eventually get your body used to it. Though some people are natural night owls. I have to work night shifts before I can't force myself up in the mornings either. I get my best sleep with the sun is rising, rather then when its going down. It's a curse but I work with it.

Force yourself to turn your sleeping hours around for a week... maybe even a month. If it's still miserable after a month... face the fact your a night owl. Maybe it will change the older you get.

P.S. If you suffer from depression, your depression is probably caused by sleeping all morning and being up all night lol. Little day time and too much night time even gives me depression. My Fiance and I are going to try switching our work hours to days, because we're both depressed living this way... even if it does suck waking up in the morning. I have to start forcing myself. I couldn't do it without my Fiance to get me out of bed.



You need a reason to wake up, some people have work or school. Find some kind of morning activity that you can do with a friend. For instance basket ball every morning at 9-11am. That way you have to wake up cause you can't ditch a friend. Or join a gym, and go work out every morning, and make it a routine. If you live with other people be the person who cooks breakfast. Do something that is consistence. Hope this helps!

You need to retrain your body for your new time schedule. You can start with an alarm clock and or have your friend call you to make sure you are up at the time you want to get up. As soon as the alarm goes off get out of bed and get into the shower.



Remove anything in your life which may encourage insomniac activities. Them that way you can go to bed on time. To wake up easier plan something interesting you wanna do that way you are sure to wake up determined to achieved your daily goal



Workout the whole afternoon, have a great dinner and you'll feel sleepy...
And you might wanna think of setting an alarm
