Static noise in my ear?!

Question: Static noise in my ear?
My right ear hears what sounds like an untuned radio station or something. There is a fuzzy static noise along with a high pitch, and a low pitch whistle sounding thing. I didn't realize it was my ear till I plugged it with my finger and hear it even clearer. It's louder then it was a half hour ago, but on the quiet side. I'm starting to get freaked out. I'm 23 years old. Am I becoming schizo?? It's only been doing this for the past 30 mins once I layed down to sleep. My left hear is fine. Maybe my right ear is going deaf? I hope I don't have this noise in my ear the rest of my life. My hands are shaking I'm so scared. I'll see a doctor tomorrow if it's still happening when I wake up.

P.S. I have a headache on that side of my head too, above my right eye. That's not unusual, especially since I lost my glasses a few weeks ago. So I don't think this headache has anything to do with it, but maybe?? I'm pretty scared. The noise will make it hard to sleep, especially since I have no idea why it's doing this. I wasn't listening to anything loud today. Nothing hurt my ear drum today.

Answers:

It could be Tinnitus?

ear noises that come and go are normal, when they stay its tinitus, which should be checked out by a specialist doc but sadly often not much can be done, use some earwax remover
you can be oversensitive to sound, often caused by stress or anxiety
look up hypervigilant on the net, earplugs help

This is Tinnitus. It is caused by being exposed to loud noise and can affect your hearing. Generally, if your environment is very noise you will eventually damage your hearing if you do not wear hearing protection. This also will occur if you listen to loud music, possibly with your ear phones, possibly in the ear that is affected.
If you stop exposing yourself to that loud noise or music gradually the tinnitus noise will go away, but you still can develop acute hearing problems at certain hearing ranges.
