If you have a stomach virus will your stomach be sensitive to the last thing you!

Question: If you have a stomach virus will your stomach be sensitive to the last thing you ate before you got sick?
forever?

will the last thing you ate always make you feel sick even after you're better? does your stomach develop a sensitivity that lasts forever to that food that never gets better?

Answers:

Not in a physical way. Viruses do not interact with the food you ate to cause sensitivities.
However, you may associate eating that last thing you ate with getting really sick, and have a psychological (and even psychosomatic) reaction whenever you see or eat that food in the future. But that's rare.

No, your stomach does not "remember" foods. It doesn't matter what you ate right before you got sick. It might be in your head. You may remember vomiting it up. Now, every time you eat that food, you associate it with vomiting.

If you are having problems with a certain type of food (i.e. milk or peanuts) then you might have an allergy, and that is something your doctor can check for.

no
a virus comes from germs, not from a particular food.

No, you will be O.K.
