Why am I soo hungry all the time all of a sudden?!


Question: Why am I soo hungry all the time all of a sudden?
I have been doing a new work out routine for about 3 weeks now. Where I exercise twice a day. I also have lessened my meal portions. I drink 74 ounces of water a day. I have already lost atleast 5 pounds maybe more, I weigh myself again next week. Well this week all of sudden I am always feeling tremondous hunger....Is this normal?

I would be more worried if you were not feeling this way, It sounds to me like you stomach is just going through the normal adjustment process associated with portion control. However if this persists for much longer you might want to consider taking a vitamin supplement. As this hunger could be explained by your body trying to alert you of a minor vitamin deficiency, but if you've regulated your diet correctly this should not be a problem.

Also I'm glad to see that you are health conscious, but might you consider easing the transaction from normal behavior to diet behavior in the future? This would aid in the avoidance of this problem in the future



The more you work out, the more you need to eat. You can't lose weight by starving yourself. The body clings to fat when you do that. Also if you work out and don't eat enough or sleep well, you won't lose as much weight. You need energy and good rest to lose weight efficiently. Sometimes this can be a high-wire balancing act, but if you gradually increase your food intake, and only eat foods that are healthy, you will find your balance.
