This is a very difficult issue, and one which fazes experienced managers, let along a schoolkid!

Kids don't always know when they turn into the age when they need to shower more often. I can only say what I would do (and I'm a 32 year old manager!)

I would speak to her privately as you leave school, but nothing heavy. Just say to her 'hey, will you have a shower before school tomorrow?' Whatever she says, reply 'You should.' with a pat on the arm/hand/whatever, and leave it at that. If she really is a friend, and you want to solve this, give her some deodorant to take home with her, but don't say or do anything to make an issue of it, and for god's sake do it PRIVATELY!

Do not make a big issue out of it. The poor girl will be mortified (imagine how you would feel). Let her know it is not a big issue for you, so she can fix it without feeling like you are disgusted with her (even if you are).

If this does not work, you might have to pull her to one side and lay it out plain and simple. Please don't pick on her about it - I hate bullies!

Move seats, ask the teacher, give her some perfume or deodorant as a hint, or just tell her straight up you need to take a shower but don't do it with a tone. To be safer, just tell her that others are starting to say things too probably to cover your butt.

whenever your near her ask her if she can smell that smell that is around? ' look around sniffing' hopefully she'll think that it might be her :) might work but be sincere then she wont think your bein rude.

If it's her breathe just chew a piece of gum or eat a mint and then offer her one. If its body wise I would speak to a teacher and let them handle it.
