Constipation problems...help?!

Question: Constipation problems...help?
So I haven't done a #2 since last saturday. I've recently started dieting and have been eating fiber-rich foods and plenty of water. I've even tried laxatives but it still doesn't work. How serious is this?

Answers:

that's pretty bad. too little fibre can cause constipation, but at the same time, too much can cause it. it's probably because your body isn't used to your new diet and is finding it hard to adapt. If this continues, it's probably best to seek professional advice on your diet and the effects it has etc.
you could dry drinking a bit of concentrated squash? (like before you add water to squash). it's not an ideal permanent solution, but it's what i do when i need to get things moving lol :)

Ive been dealing with the same thing for like, 3 months.

Its pretty terrible that Im not joking.

First, I know you're already doing this, but really, the only thing that really helps me is lots and lots of water. And by lots, I mean... Like, tons. Milk of magnesia and crap never worked for me, but once I got some water in my system it's like it flushed out some of my system.

Also, try not to eat too much iron, because iron is awful with this kind of stuff.

Sorry if Im not much help but really, water is probably one of the best things to try.

depends on what kind of laxatives and diet i know that if you can cheat a bit try red licorice it is a natural lax and fat free or even dried prunes and if that isnt a option then you might try baking soda and a bit of water.or mag citrate

nothing to worry about. drink a quart of mineral oil, and 1 whole box of exlax.
problem solved.
