Are your kidneys inside of your rib cage?!
Question: Are your kidneys inside of your rib cage?
Answers:
The kidneys are slightly covered by the floating ribs 11 and 12; however, they are not fully protected like other underlying structures such as the heart, the lungs, the liver, etc.
The kidneys themselves are in a retroperitoneal position and are covered by fatty tissues (adipose) for protection.
Hope this helps!

Not exactly, your rib cage offers no protection from the front, but from the back your last rib on each side is called a false rib, or floating ribs and they protect your kidneys...but your kidneys are not inside the actual rib cage.
