Shaking after blood test ?!

Question: Shaking after blood test ?
I always feel faint so faint I have passed out a few times that was the same with today there were so many tubes of blood I felt okay until the fourth one then I began passing out when the needle was out my head sank between my knees I was taking long deep breaths and then began shaking.

Is there any reason why the shaking started?

ive seen someone pass out before to blood being taken only a few vials. That can be normal cause of seeing the blood. But there are some people who are un aware they have low blood volume and that can be very fatal to give blood , heart failure etc. but if your blood pressure is ok then you should be fine

I'm no medical expert, but I have had blood tests done myself. Maybe you are not drinking enough water beforehand? That can make you feel really weak. Also, if you haven't eaten or not enough food. Both food and water is important! Or, if you don't like water, stay with something that will do your body good like Gatorade. The only other thing could maybe you're tired. Being tired can also make the body weak, so get good sleep the night before. Just take it slow and don't stand up until you're ready after the blood is drawn. You don't want to faint or black out or worse, hit your head or something else going down.

Good luck! :)

No medical background, just from my own experience.

The shaking isn't due to blood loss. You have experienced the vasovagal response. The body is placed under stress (the pain of the blood draw or the idea of blood) and then suddenly "relaxes" by activating the vagus nerve. Blood vessels dilate and not enough blood gets to the brain. Fainting, nausea and shaking may occur. Just make sure you take ample time to rest after such episodes.

Ever have a "near miss" with a car accident? You are fine during the crisis, but have to pull over afterward because you cant stop shaking? Same thing.

anxiety
or low blood sugar if you hadn't eaten ?
