Legal : morphine, hydromorphone, oxycodone, hydrocodone, codeine are the generics. Brands include MS Contin, Kadian, Avinza, Dilaudid, Percocet, Vicodin

Illegal : Heroin

All of these are opiates, and are considered illegal unless you are prescribed them. Obviously heroin is illegal.
Opiates: Morphine, hydromorphone, oxycodone, hydrocodone, codeine Heroin are the chemicals, the brands include MS Contin, Kadian, Avinza, Dilaudid, Vicodin, lortab, Percocet, Oxycontin, and Darvocet. There are more such as Tylenol 3, but tylenol 3 is simply tylenol with a wee bit of Codeine in it.
Codeine is very weak, 30mgs of codeine equals 10 mgs of hydrocodone. So it is very hard to get high off of it for normal users, or anyone who has developed a tolerance.
