Who can tell me what happens when my eyes close for the last time?!

Well, from a medical point of view.
After you stop breathing;
All the cells / nerves in the brain die, and as each one dies it releases endorphins, which will mask the pain.
While this is occurring, the brain itself is still active for 5 to 8 minutes.
Specifically the part of the brain that controls your dreams.
So your brain gives you a finally dream, and it will be what every you think the afterlife should be.
As most people who have a near death experience, always see what they were told / or believed to see when they die.
again, this is from a medical point of view.

My suggestion is to not look for an answer but look for peace of mind. My faith is a mix of a lot of things from a large number of religions (not because im unsure, nut because it makes sense to me). I say read up on as many religions and ideologies as you can (try to avoid crazy things like satanism or voodoo) You will never find an answer for your question, but you at least may be closer to an understanding. By my thinking, when you close your eyes for the last time, you really open them for the first time.
