What just happened to me? Please answer?!

Question: What just happened to me? Please answer?
Last night, I stood up and said bye to my mom before she left for work. While standing, I started to feel tingly. (Just a little bit) Then my mom went in her room to grab something. Before I knew it I was on my hands and knees, with my head feeling like it was spinning, and I was more tingly. I had a headache until I fell asleep after that. (about 2 hours) What happened to me??? Please note that I am only 13.

puberty, definately puberty

Could be anything from a blood pressure issue to low blood sugar. If it's never happened before and doesn't happen repeatedly, it's probably nothing to worry about - but next time you see your doctor mention it. If it happens often, go see someone.
When we go from sitting/laying to standing, our body has to adjust to the change (constriction of blood vessels for example) in order to regulate the blood pressure and keep us on our feet. Also, if it had been a while since you ate, a low blood sugar could have caused that "fainting" feeling, then head ache and sleepiness. At 13 y/o, it shouldn't be anything really serious, but keep an eye out for patterns if it happens again - what did you do before, what made it better/worse, last time you ate, have you been drinking enough water, etc - and definitely tell people around you about what happened. They'll be able to keep an eye on you - or help - if it happens again. Talk to your doc too.

I'm an RN

Sounds like vertigo. When you stood up all the blood rushed to you head, the tingling was caused by the blood rushing, as well as the room spinning. The headache was most likely do to being surprised by it. This happens sometimes and you should not be concerned unless it happens a lot. If it happens a lot you may want to see a doctor.

i would tell your mum and go to see a doctor
puberty should not be like that
vertico could though
just get checked out
good luck

go to the doctors, it couldve been a seizure, not sure but you need to get it checked out

Happens to me.. but i am worse. Seriously like the voices...nvm. But it is not a blood rush.. it isn't..
