Question: Ways to stop stomach growling During ACT testing please help?
Answers:
Well, coming from someone who has not taken the ACT, i would just eat breakfast! Its a simple as that! My stomach does the same thing and i feel you, concentration is hard when your stomach is growling! I am not saying you have to even make breakfast! A granola bar or a fiber 1 bar will do the trick. It fills you up and gets you a lot more foucused and energized. If your not interested in that, make a piece of toast for breakfast, it only takes a few minutes to prepare and wont starve you later on. Pretty much any other breakfast will work as long as there isnt a load of sugar or fattening. You could prepare a smoothie or tea at night and put it in the refriderator over night, then in the morning you just have to pour some in a cup. Hope i helped and good luck on the ACT's. (:
UGH, my stomach does that, too!
When I took the ACT, they gave us a break during like, the two "halves" of the test...I mean like, when it was half way over, there are more than 2 sections in the test. LOL Anyway, when we were on break, most kids went to the vending machine, so definitely try to do that! Also, grab a granola bar or something before you head out in the morning...it should hopefully tide you over! :)
I suggest eating extra protein and fiber in addition to carbs. They take longer to digest, so they satiate you longer. That keeps you from getting hungry again.
Eat a normal breakfast, you will have enough time easily. Eating a lot will only unsettle your stomach more.
Fill it with something.
eat a ****-ton beforehand
carry some high fiber complex carb choices with you. this will solve this issue.l
