Question: Why am I getting sick real easily?
My doctor told me earlier today that I am anemic. Since having my surgery in December I have already had a UTI a stomach flu strep and an all over achy and sick feeling as well as congestion and a fever.
Could anemia explain that?

Anemia by itself, dont think so, no. My mom is anemic and she doesnt have any of those...except congestion, but thats seasonal allergies. Like the other guy said, surgery tends to lower your immune system for a while. Eat some soup and crackers. That helps me whenever I get sick.
Well the surgery, you never mentioned what type, is an afront to the body and therefore can negatively impact your immune system. And once your immune system is reduced in any way you are open to other infection.
