blood in stool & cramps ?!

Question: Blood in stool & cramps ?
I have had a cold for the past two days (not sure if it's related) but I also noticed around 2 days ago bright red blood in my stool. It wasn't a lot but i noticed it on the toilet paper and in the stool itself. Today I've also noticed mild cramps similar to menstrual cramps. Should I be concerned ? If I did go to the doctor what would they most likely do ?

Doctor will ask for a stool sample. I guess that actually isn't as big of a deal as it sounds. They'll also probably take a blood test. If they have a reason, they might ask for a colonoscopy, which I understand also isn't as big of a deal as it sounds.

You definitely need to get checked out though. Blood in your stool is nothing to mess around with. If it turns out that you have some sort of IBS, get on medication to control it before you **** yourself in public.

If it's possible you were wiping too vigorously, or you were wiping with sandpaper, way a few days and only see the doc if it continues. The cramps make me think that isn't the case though. Just get checked out. Science will fix you.

It could be from drinking too much alcohol if you drink.
If you don't then it could be hemorrhoids or something of the like.
I would recommend you go to the doctor for the best answer obviously lol
good luck!

Could be anal fissures or hemorrhoids. But whenever there is blood present you need to get it checked kiddo. It is a very easy check so not to worry and better safe than sorry.

It's your period. Completely normal. If it's your first time, you'll need to tell your mom. Hope I helped. (:
