Question: Im sick and i have a question about temperature?

i stayed home from school thursday and today. yesterday my temp kept fluctuating throughout the day and the highest it was was 102.8. then i took some nyquil and an hour later my temp was 99 and i felt fine. i woke up this morning and i had a temp of 103.4 and that stayed and fluctuated from 102.6-103 for about 2 hours while my dad went out and got me liquid tylenol. i took the liquid tylenol at 12 and at 2 my temp was 98.7 so i felt pretty good, i fell asleep again at about 3 and when i woke up at 4, my temp was back at 100-101, then i took my second dose of liquid tylenol. right now at 730 my temp is a steady 99.4 my question is
- do i have the flu?
-will i be better for a party tomarrow?
- does my temp go up while i sleep for a reason and should i be concerned?

Everyone will "heat up" while sleeping. This is because our body drops the core temperature of our vital organs, by diverting heat to the hands, feet, and other peripherals. While the effect may seem like you're getting hotter, you're insides are actually colder. The effect is elevated when someone is sick and running a fever, because your body is working that much harder to divert all of the heat.

To be diagnosed for the flu you should see a doctor.

It's up to you if you want to party or not, I suggest a healthy dose of DayQuil to help relieve any symptoms. But either way, you probably wouldn't want to get anyone else sick.
