Don't use a harsh soap to wash your face; try to find a soap-free cleanser (like cetaphil, I believe.) Also, those abrasive cleansers with "micro beads" will just make it worse. Get a gentle, oil-free moisturizer for the peeling skin (I assume it's dry; if it's peeling and not dry, you should go to the dermatologist pronto. Hydrocortizone could help, but I don't want you taking that unnecessarily because it could affect the acne.)

For acne, one of the most common OTC treatments is benzoyl peroxide. Apply a thin layer to the affected area twice a day, morning and night. Keep in mind that it might bleach clothing though, and it dries out your skin, to make sure to use a moisturizer. Another option is salicylic acid, although it's drying too. You can also ask your pharmacist for advice when buying over-the-counter products. I would make an appointment with a dermatologist if you want anything stronger than that.

I had this issue but I went to the doctors and she gave me a climdamycin lotion and aquous cream. To wash and cleanse my face I do it in the morning and at night :) the doctor recommended liz Earle hot cloth cleanser as it is mild and hydrating but also cleans your skin so you get less acne :) I then put on the lotion wait for it to dry then put on the aquous cream usually I put on quite a lot at night and then a thin layer in the morning. I found benzoyl peroxide VERY harsh on my skin and it dried it out a lot. It is usually in over the counter spot treatments and never seems to solve your acne it really just dries out your skin along with oil :S but I would go to the doctor and see if they can find a treatment plan :) even extremely mild acne is curable. Within 6 months of using this treatment I have no acne at all, no acne scars and my skin is hydrated and feels great :) but go to your doctor and speak about it with them :D xx

Wash your face more often for the acne(Once in the morning, once at night) and use moisturizer for the peeling skin
